A report had emerged last week detailing that OPPO has got plans to launch a special edition model for the Find X2 smartphone and its Watch lineup, based around the popular MOBA title League of Legends.

It has now been revealed on Weibo that the Find X2 League of Legends edition will be officially launched on October 19 in China. The report says the special version will have a custom paint job and an exclusive theme and will have 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The launch will coincide with the 11 years anniversary since the multiplayer online game League of Legends was released. The Find X2 special edition is meant to commemorate the anniversary.

Renders of the Find X2 LOL edition were also shared showing the device will have the Worlds 2020 logo on the back which is the marketing name of the 2020 Season World Championship. The device adopts a mist-green-blue shade on the back and the sides while the top has golden accents as well as the bottom, and around the camera. The back panel is likely going to be made from glass.

We expect the specifications to remain the same as the regular Find X2. As a reminder, the device will pack a triple camera on the back and is powered by a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. The device will run ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 to make the user experience as smooth as it gets on an Oppo phone.

OPPO is also expected to launch its first smart TV on that day and perhaps the OPPO Watch LOL edition as well.
