While we’ve heard the news about new chipset from mediatek is MTK6589, and now we heard Mediatek conference will be held at December 11th in Senzhen, China.

Mediatek will launch their quad-core chipset MTK6589 and there is domestic manufacturer will jian, such as ZTE, Huawei, Coolpad, Lenovo, Gionee, Backgammon, OPPO, TCL and other mobile phone manufacturers already began equipped with the MT6589 quad-core processor.

Previously, we have heard the rumor about their quad-core smartphone prototype which powered by MTK6589 and we getting closer with those phone. Even there is a Benchmark test result to show the Lenovo smartphone perfomance. Here is the picture:

From the screen shot of Benchmark test, we see the brand product is Lenovo, using hardware processor MT6589, running at 1.2GHz clock speed, a screen resolution of 960 * 540 QHD, graphics processor and had handed out information consistent, MTK6589 indeed built-in PowerVR SGX 544, 1GB of RAM, along with 8 megapixel camera. The run sub phone is not weak, about 9800, but I believe there will continue to optimize the space.

Some time ago there was news about the new Lenovo smartphone project which has codename Arkansas and powered by 1.2GHz processor, packs with a 4.5-inch screen, a resolution of QHD 960 x 540 qHD screen and has 1GB of RAM and 4G of internal storage, also Equipped with the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Beans.

I thinks, this is the new Lenovo Arkansas smartphone, and the price will be range for 1499 yuan -1799 yuan, so what do you think?
