Alcatel is oneof the smartphone and tablet vendor which adopt Firefox OS mobile operating system, Alcatel has been shown their Firefox OS device on Mobile World Congress back to last February 2014.

Alcatel has been showing the Firefox OS-based device such as : Alcatel One Touch Fire C, Alcatel One Touch Fire E, Alcatel One Touch Fire S phones and Alcatel One Touch Fire 7 tablet.

The Alcatel One Touch Fire 7 is packs with 7 inch screen size with capacitve capabilty in the 540 × 960 screen resolution, the tablet has powered by 1.2Ghz dual core processor and coupled with front and rear VGA camera. This tablet is also has 2GB of RAM and 4Gb of ROM but you can add the 32GB of external storage.

The device will be on sale in the third quarter of this year and offered with 79 EUR.

Firefox OS is a lInux-based mobile operating system and Mozilla Developers has been built this platform using HTML 5 technologies. The other Mozilla partner which built Firefox OS is LG, ZTE, Geeksphone and Alcatel.
