Xiaomi has launched the new version of the 4G-LTE variant of its 5.5-inch phablet, the Redmi Note, in China. Its price has been set at CNY 999 and that is about $162 and in Indian currency Rs. 9,900.

The phone is merely offered in an exceedingly single-SIM configuration, not like the 3G version, that supports 2 SIM card slots. The phone runs automaton four.4.2 kitKat with MIUI v.5.0. It options an analogous five.5-inch (720×1280 pixels) IPS-LCD show a bit like the present Redmi Note.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G options a Qualcomm MSM8928 flower four hundred with a quad-core 1.6G Hz computer hardware and 2GB of RAM, rather than the 1.7G Hz octa-core MediaTek MTK6592 SoC of the 3G-only variant. Last month, beside the Xiaomi Mi 3 flagship launch in Republic of India, the Chinese smartphone and tab manufacturer had launched the Redmi Note and Redmi 1S in Republic of India, priced at Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 6,999 severally.
