New CoolPad Smartphone with 20.7MP Camera and Snapdragon Processor Leaked

It looks like Coolpad is back to work on a new smartphone after successfully launching their Dazen X7 flagship earlier this year and their Ivvi sub-brand late last year, according to a recent leak.

Based on the images seen in the leak, the upcoming Coolpad smartphone will feature a design similar to its Y75/80 device the company released early last year wherein the device looks to have barely any bezel on the sides of the screen. It also looks like the new device will come in gold. This might mean that the new device will belong to the same line or family as the Y75/80.

The images also point to the device being powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor but as to which specific chip is uncertain. Further leaks and reports also state that Coolpad is using a new NCVM plasma vacuum coating process to make the device’s body slimmer and to improve its texture. Additionally, the new smartphone is said to come with a 20.7-megapixel rear camera as well as a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

It’s unsure when the company plans to officially unveil its new device but considering that the last Y device was released more than a year ago, the new device should come out very soon.
