Smartphones with bezel-less or borderless designs has been the recent trend in the smartphone industry lately with many companies like Xiaomi, Huawei, and many more revealing new devices with extremely narrow side bezels. And it looks like Coolpad is also riding the wave of bezel-less smartphone designs this 2015 with its upcoming 2nd generation Coolpad Tiptop smartphone if reports on the upcoming device are to believed.
The original Coolpad Tiptop also featured a very narrow frame and reports have the said the company is still following the same design for the next generation of the device. There’s also speculation that the new device could feature either a Snapdragon 620 or 425 processor from Qualcomm. Both of the newer processors support 64-bit processing as well as 4G LTE connectivity so they’ll definitely be an upgrade compared to the Snapdragon 410 chip found on the original Tiptop.
The reports did not mention what other specifications the upcoming device would feature as well as when it will possibly launch but more information on the 2nd generation Coolpad Tiptop should come out in the coming weeks. We speculate that the new device will probably feature 2 of RAM as well as 16 or 32GB of storage.
