TCL has officially launched the P620M, the company’s latest entry-level smartphone to match up against the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi 2.
The P620M features a pretty conventional design with a plastic shell available in different colors including Snow-capped Mountains White, Dark Gray Moon, Sky Blue, and Vibrant Yellow. The whole body measures only 141.0 x 70.8 x 8.8mm and weighs only 121 grams.
The front features a 5.0-inch 720p resolution IPS display as well as a 5-megapixel front-facing camera while the rear is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, a 5-element lens, and phase-detection auto-focus coupled with an LED flash.
On the inside, the P620M features a MediaTek MT6735 1.3GHz 64-bit quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop. It also supports Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity as well as 4G LTE with dual SIM standby support.
The TCL P620M is very competitively priced at only 599 Yuan which, with its specifications, puts it in a very good spot against its competitors in the entry-level smartphone market which, in itself, is already a very competitive market. The new device is now available for pre-order at several TCL retail partners including Suning Tesco and China Mobile Mall.
