Gionee is one of those Chinese manufacturers that some international users may have heard of. The company is know for producing very slim devices and at one point the manufacturer was even known for the slimmest device on the planet (Gionee Elife S 5.5 and 5.1).

This time around we are talking about the upcoming Gionee E8 as the alleged renders have leaked online. As the render suggests, we are seeing a very slim all-metal device, which comes in gold colour. In addition to this, the device may carry a powerful camera as it has a dedicated camera shutter button.

What is more, the upcoming Gionee E8 uses a 2K resolution Amoled display (the size unknown yet). Under the hood it spots MediaTek MT6795 octa-core chip (2.0GHz frequency), has 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage (no word on expandability). Moreover, the device carries a 23MP shooter on the back, which is allegedly capable of taking 100MP pictures! On the front, there is a respectable 8MP shooter. All of this hardware is powered by the Amigo 3.0 UI, which is based on the Android 5.0 Lolipop out of the box. The device has measurements of 164.0 × 82.3 × 9.6mm and weights 207g. Last but not least a built-in 3250mAh battery is running the show.

The new Gionee E8 shapes up to be a great device both inside and out. It offers a premium design with some awesome specs. There is no word on the availability neither in China nor internationally though. We will keep you posted for any updates on this exciting new device.
