Aside from being able to lock the screen of the device, users may also lock their apps using the Ulefone Be Touch 2’s fingerprint sensor.
The Finger AppLock on the Ulefone Be Touch 2 is fairly easy to set up. After registering your fingerprint ID, you only need to go to the device’s Finger Scanner settings and under Finger Applock choose which apps you want to protect. Once the apps to be locked are chosen, opening them up will prompt you to unlock them using your fingerprint. Additionally, the Ulefone Be Touch 2’s app lock and screen lock features are independent of each other so users are able to choose to use either one or both of them at the same time.
Aside from the screen and app lock via the device’s home button fingerprint sensor, the Ulefone Be Touch 2 also features a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p display, a MediaTek MTK6752 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with support for expandable storage up to 64GB via microSD, dual SIM dual standby support, a 3050mAh battery, a 13-megapixel Sony IMX214 sensor rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Ulefone is currently scheduled to hold a flash sale for the Be Touch 2 this coming July 14 in partnership with 20 online shops including Coolicool.com. The 10,000 units of the device will be on sale for only $179.99 during the flash sale.
