Elephone Unveils A Clean Yet Feature Rich ELE UI

Elephone has officially unveiled its new ELE UI operating system that runs on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop in a new video that shows off some of the new interface’s features.

elephone-eleui-unveil-01The new ELE UI, which will come built-in into Elephone’s upcoming P6000 Pro and P8000, comes with a whole slew of features including a Real-time Weather Widget, Icon Resizing, Multiple Language Support, a Launcher customization menu, the ability to swipe between app folders for faster browsing, Downloadable Themes, and multiple built-in Search Engines.

elephone-eleui-unveil-02The company is also making the source code for ELE UI available to the public so that users, developers, and programmers can modify and customize the new UI as they wish including installing their own icons, backgrounds, widgets, and more.

Other than the P6000 Pro and the P8000, the company did not announce which other Elephone devices will receive the new ELE UI so we’ll just have to wait for further announcements regarding that.
