Ulefone has officially announced the specifications and features of its upcoming Paris smartphone today. The device is scheduled to launch sometime next week.
The Ulefone Paris, which the company originally announced back in July will feature a 5-inch display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The company originally wanted to use a full HD 1080p display but did not want to use a larger battery to power it and sacrifice the phone’s thinness so in the end they used the lower resolution display instead saying that 720p is considered acceptable for 5-inch screens.
The Paris will also feature a MTK6753 processor which is known for its low power consumption which supports the company’s objective to make the device as thin as possible. Because of the lower resolution display and the low consumption processor, the company was able to equip the Paris with a thin 2250mAh battery which resulted in a light and slim device.
As for the rest of its specifications, the Paris comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB cards, 4G LTE connectivity, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Ulefone Paris will run a stock version of Google’s Android 5.1 Lollipop.
As previously mentioned, the Ulefone Paris is expected to launch next week. The company has yet to announce a price but that and the rest of the device’s details should be revealed next week at the launch event.
