Meizu has finally launched their flagship MX5 in India today after the company announced its plans to bring the flagship device to the fast growing market. The 16GB variant of the MX5 will be exclusively available online via Snapdeal for a price of Rs 19,999.
The MX5 was first unveiled by the Chinese company last July and features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels giving it a sharp pixel density of 401ppi. It also features the company’s own Helio X10 64-bit octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 3150mAh battery. As previously mentioned, Meizu has brought the 16GB variant of the MX5 to India while the larger 32GB and 64GB variants will be made available at a later date.
The rest of the MX5’s features include a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX220 Exmore RS BSI sensor, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity, dual SIM dual standby support, and runs the company’s Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Flyme 4.5 operating system.
Lastly, the Meizu MX5 will be available in two colors – silver/black and silver/white. According to the company’s announcement, the MX5 should be available for order on Snapdeal at the time of this article’s publishing so head on over to Snapdeal’s website to get your own MX5.
