New information on Smartisan’s upcoming T2 flagship smartphone have been leaked online through Chinese social media site Weibo.
According to the leak, the upcoming Smartisan T2 now has an estimated release date of sometime in November. If this information is accurate, it looks like the T2 will no longer feature the upcoming Snapdragon 820 processor as previously reported. Which leaves the question on which processor the T2 will now use.
The leak also revealed that Smartisan is also working on a T2 Pro smartphone which could possibly be equipped with a 5.5-inch QuadHD 2K display, a fingerprint sensor, a pressure-sensitive touch display, a 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, 3GB of RAM, and a speculated released time of sometime in the middle of next year.
Lastly, the leak mentioned that the releases of the T2 and T2 Pro will be interspersed with several other devices that are currently unknown so it looks like Smartisan has several new devices upcoming along with their two flagships.
