It looks like Huawei is set to announce another budget smartphone soon as information leaked from TENAA reveals what is speculated to be the Play 5.
According to information leaked from TENAA, the Huawei Play 5 is actually a series of four smartphones that are codenamed HUAWEI TIT-AL00, HUAWEI TIT-TL00, HUAWEI TIT-CL10, and HUAWEI TIT-CL00, with the main difference between the four is their network compatibility with the TIT-CL00 supporting full 4G network connectivity while the other three only supporting specific 4G networks.
While the first three variants all feature a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, the TIT-CL00 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 1.2GHz quad-core processor and an 8-megapixel rear camera.
All four versions of the Play 5 feature the same plastic body measuring 143.1 x 71.8 x 9.7mm and weighing 159 grams. All four Play 5 variants also feature a 5-inch 720 display, a 4000mAh battery, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, dual SIM dual standby support, expandable storage via microSD, and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
According to previous reports, Huawei plans to officially announce the Play 5 on October 10 and will give it a price of 999 Yuan for the TIT-CL00 and 799 Yuan for the other three variants.
