Ulefone has published a video on their YouTube channel showing their latest Ulefone Paris smartphone being submerged in a pool of water as well as getting a bottle of cola poured on it.
While the device survived both endeavors, even being able to record video while being submerged in water, due to the Paris’s 2.5D glass and metal frame Ulefone said on their blog that the video is only meant to show off the Paris’s capability to resist water and users should not attempt to do the same with their units. The company also reminds users that if their Paris does get flooded, they should remove the battery right away and shake out the water before seeking out a repair shop to dry it.
The Ulefone Paris started shipping last September 25 from several online retailers including GearBest.com. It features a 5-inch 720 display, a MediaTek MTK6753 64-bit octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB cards, 4G LTE connectivity, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Ulefone Paris runs a stock version of Google’s Android 5.1 Lollipop.
As previously mentioned, the Ulefone Paris started shipping last September 25 but can still be purchased from several retailers for its pre-sale price of $129.99 instead of its full price of $169.99 until October 8.Always be the first to know. Follow us:
