The Ulefone Paris Is Put Through a Drop Test

It looks like the folks from Ulefone aren’t done playing around and testing the limits of their recently released Paris smartphone. We previously reported that the company put the Paris through a Cola and water test but this time they put the Paris through a drop test to see how it would survive a drop from a number of heights.

In the video, the Ulefone Paris is dropped from three different heights including 1 meter, 1.6 meters, and 1.8 meters onto a hard floor. While the phone survived the first two drops without any damage, the highest drop led to the back cover and battery of the Paris to come loose and the metal frame to be slightly dented. The phone also kept functioning all throughout the three drop tests as the device did not stop recording video until the last test where the battery came loose. After the tests, the device still ran smoothly and perfectly without any sign of damage to its functions.

The Ulefone Paris started shipping last September 25 from several online retailers including It features a 5-inch 720 display, a MediaTek MTK6753 64-bit octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB cards, 4G LTE connectivity, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Ulefone Paris runs a stock version of Google’s Android 5.1 Lollipop.

As previously mentioned, the Ulefone Paris started shipping last September 25 but can still be purchased from several retailers for its pre-sale price of $129.99 instead of its full price of $169.99 until October 8.
