With the impending release of the OPPO R7s so close, it isn’t a surprise that more news on the upcoming smartphone has been leaked. Today, a source has revealed that the OPPO R7s will not only come in a 3GB RAM variant but will also be available in a 4GB RAM variant.
If this information holds to be true then it will make the OPPO R7s more attractive than it already is. Additionally, the 4GB variant might also feature a larger internal storage as is the case with other smartphones with 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. Originally, the R7s has been previously reported to come with 32GB of ROM but the 4GB RAM variant might feature more internal storage, possible around 64GB.
As for its other specifications, previous reports have stated that the new device will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p AMOLED display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It’s also been reported that the R7s will be powered by a larger battery than the original R7.
The OPPO R7s will be officially unveiled at this year’s Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) which will be held in Dubai from October 18 to 22.
