With Xiaomi’s next press conference less than a week away, the company’s CEO has decided to tease the company’s upcoming and highly anticipated Redmi Note 2 Pro by releasing a photo of the device.
The photo shows the upper rear portion of the Redmi Note 2 Pro revealing its round-shaped camera and fingerprint sensor as well as the device’s dual LED flash between them. The photo confirms previous rumors that Xiaomi had decided to use a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor instead of a home key fingerprint sensor. This also means that the company may have done away with a physical home key altogether and will use capacitive or on-screen keys instead.
The body of the device comes in a bright gold and features very soft and rounded edges and corners. It’s probably safe to assume that the Redmi Note 2 Pro will also come in different colors. We’ll just have to wait and see what the company officially unveils at their conference which will be held on Tuesday on the 24th.
