As you can clearly see in the photos that there is a fingerprint sensor just below the camera unit and we already know that Note 2 Pro will be Xiaomi’s first metal clad smartphone to feature the fingerprint sensor. Though, the smartphone is securely packed in a protective transparent case, the Mi branding is clearly visible just above the loudspeaker grill on the shiny metallic back panel.
The front of the smartphone reveals that Note 2 Pro will be running on MIUI 7, Xiaomi’s beautiful and intuitive UI out of the box. Other specifications of Note 2 Pro include a 5.5 inch Full HD display, an Octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor coupled with 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage and usual camera combination of 13 MP and 5 MP rear and front cameras. The smartphone will be drawing power from a 3060 mAh battery underneath. The smartphone is expected to carry a price tag of 999 Yuan. In case if there is a 3 GB RAM variant the price could be around 1099 Yuan, which makes it even better considering other specifications of Note 2 Pro.
Apart from Note 2 Pro, Xiaomi can unveil couple of other products like Mi Tab 2 or the much awaited flagship smartphone of the year Mi5.
