The announcement of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 was quite unexpected along with its unexpected design and specifications that include a full metal body and a 64-bit Intel Atom X5-Z8500 processor. Some were doubting the performance of the Mi Pad 2 due to recently leaked benchmark results but Weibo user @Sail Osamu_Fan has released videos showing that the Mi Pad 2 can play both League of Legends and Counter-strike GO smoothly.
While the hardware requirements of both games aren’t particularly high, it is still an impressive feat for a tablet to be able to run either of them smoothly especially with an Intel Atom processor and only 2GB of RAM.
As for the rest of the Mi Pad 2’s specifications, they include a 7.9-inch screen with a display resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, 16GB or 64GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 6190mAh battery, and a USB Type-C port.
The Mi Pad 2 is able to run either Windows 10, as shown in the videos, as well as Android. It will be priced at 999 Yuan for the 16GB Android variant and 1299 Yuan for the 64GB Android variant or the 64GB Windows 10 variant.
