The Cubot S600 mid-range is the company’s latest mid-range smartphone and its first device to feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Along with that, the S600 also features a powerful set of cameras that’s usually found on higher-end devices.
The S600 features a 16-megapixel rear camera that’s coupled with a Phase-Detection Auto-Focus chip that not only shortens the camera’s focusing time to only 0.3 seconds but also makes it more precise and accurate. As for its front-facing camera, the S600 comes with a powerful 8-megapixel sensor.
As for the rest of its features, the S600 comes with a 5-inch HD 720p IPS display with a panel of 2.5D curved glass, a MediaTek MT6735A 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, dual SIM dual standby support, and a 2700mAh battery.
The Cubot S600 will be available in black, white and gold color variants and will come with Android 5.1 Lollipop pre-installed. It’s scheduled to start shipping in two weeks. More information on Cubot and its products can be found on their website.
