Rumors about the specifications of the Smartisan T2, the successor to Smartisan T1 has been circulating over the internet for past couple of months. A leak from Antutu benchmark has surfaced online for the first time confirming the actual specifications of Smartisan T2.
Featuring a unibody design Smartisan T2 flaunts a compact 5.0 inches Full HD i.e. 1080p display. Based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop this handset will run on Smartisan UI on top.
Earlier reports surfaced that this smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, but instead Smartisan T2 is backed by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with Adreno 418 GPU. It comes equipped with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Again there is no word whether or not it will support expandable storage.
On the optics front, Smartisan T2 sports the usual 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front facing camera. Non-removable shell houses a battery of unknown capacity.
An image of the box carrying the Smartisan T2 also leaked and as it is evident from the details mentioned on the box pack that it will support the entire network. As of now there is no information regarding when Smartisan T2 will be unveiled and the pricing details for the same. But guesses are that it will not cost much. We will keep you updated. Stay tuned!
