Ulefone has shown off the new and upgraded fingerprint scanner on their latest flagship Ulefone Be Touch 3 in a video on their YouTube channel.
The video shows that the fingerprint scanner on the Be Touch 3 is the 4th generation of the company’s home-key fingerprint scanners with the company’s Be Touch 1 and 2 featuring the 3rd generation scanner. The new 4th generation scanner features more contacting points on the FPC as well as smoother rim and a new ceramic touch panel that’s more sensitive, accurate, and less vulnerable to sweat. Additionally, fingerprint information taken by the new scanner will be subdivided using a new partition process which will considerably speed up the scanner’s response.
The rest of the Be Touch 3 include a 5.5-inch full HD 1080 IPS display protected by a panel of 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a MediaTek MTK6753 64-bit octa-core processor, a Mali T720 MP graphics chip, 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. It’s also equipped with a 13-megapixel Sony IMX214 f/1.8 aperture rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2550mAh battery.
The Ulefone Be Touch 3 is currently available over at Gearbest for only $149.99 making it the only sub-$200 smartphone with a home-key fingerprint scanner.
