by Martin 3

No.1 has published a video that shows off the company’s latest D5 Android smartwatch including some of its features and capabilities.

The video starts off with an unboxing of the D5 revealing what comes with the device which include a charging cradle and a USB cable for the charging cradle. After unboxing it, the different faces of the D5 are shown as well as how to change them. Then the web browsing, calendar, and file browsing features of the D5 are shown off revealing that the device is capable of playing YouTube videos on its small display and features its own on-screen keyboard.

The No.1 D5 is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat making it more capable and feature-packed than many other smartwatches. It also features a 1.3-inch 360 x 360 resolution IPS display, a MediaTek MT6572AW processor, a 450mAh battery which gives it a standby time of up to 120 hours, 2G and Blueooth connectivity, 4GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM, and a heart rate sensor.

The company says it plans to release more videos that detail the rest of the D5’s features. But in the meantime, more information on the No.1 D5 can be found on the No.1 official website.

Looks great. Is it the already released K8 mini ?
I have no problem with black bezel.
Is the wrist band replaceable (I know the antennas are there).

Im petty impressed with responsiveness of the touch screen. I have the D3 and its great for the price.

Yes, It’s the same thing as the K8 Mini. although I like the “D5, K8 Mini” design a little better, I would prefer the K8 because of the minor price drop (15-20$), much less power hungry (important for wearables) OLED display and the slightly thinner black borders.

I have a question to everybody who knows a thing or two about Android (full OS, with the chinese UI) on a round display, and it goes like that- I’m searching for a watch that will replace a smartphone for a while, honestly the round display is very tempting but how would apps like WhatsApp, Facebook and such will look like on a round display? cutted at the corners? will it even launch or F.C?
