Xiaomi launched the Mi Band fitness wearable accessory last year in July priced at $13 (84 Yuan) and it is still selling like hot cakes. First three quarters of 2015 has recorded 10 Million Units in sales of Mi Band which shows the popularity of the fitness wearable among the masses.
Xiaomi has further revealed that over 600,000 units of Mi Band were shipped to Taiwan during the period between January to September this year. This data reveals how much people care about their well being in today’s busy schedule.
Mi Band strengthened Xiaomi’s position in the wearable segment.

Market research firm IDC has released a report which states that Xiaomi Mi Band sales has increased over 800% over the last year which indicates Xiaomi is going strong in its wearable segment.
Earlier this year Xiaomi released an upgraded version of Mi Band 1S which comes equipped with optical heart rate monitor that was lacking in the original Xiaomi Mi Band.
