Bluboo has just recently teased a new smartphone in collaboration with DS Automobiles called the Picasso and unveiled their first smartwatch called the Xwatch and today the company has unveiled another smartphone called the Xfire 2, the world’s first triple-SIM smartphone.
The Xfire 2 features a triple-SIM design which consists of a single nano SIM tray and a dual SIM tray that supports one hybrid nano SIM/microSD slot and one micro SIM slot which allows the user to use up to three SIM cards or two SIM cards and a microSD card.
The Xfire 2 also features a 5-inch HD 720p display under a panel of 2.5D arc curved glass, a MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor, and a front LED flash for the front-facing camera. The RAM, internal storage, and battery of the Xfire 2 weren’t announced.
It looks like the Xfire 2 is targeted at the mid-range market specifically for those who subscribe to multiple telecom networks. The company did not disclose if the triple-SIM design also supported 4G LTE connectivity as well as triple-SIM standby.
According to the company, the Bluboo Xfire 2 will be priced at around $69.99 which is a pretty affordable price and it will be launched sometime in January of next year.
