Every year CES comes with loads of surprises and seems like this year is no different. OPPO, the Chinese mega smartphone manufacturer has announced that is will soon be unveiling a new camera-centric mid-range smartphone which at the moment is known as “F1”. This smartphone is first in the OPPO F series which will bring high-end top of the line shooting features to mid-range segment.
OPPO smartphones have garnered positive reviews and feedbacks from industry people and users alike for the excellent cameras they come equipped with. Now OPPO is trying to bring the highly praised photography capabilities to mid-range via F-Series smartphones for the people who love to capture photos and shoot videos with their smartphones.
Though, specifications of the new device, F1, is still a secret, we can expect higher resolution camera modules mounted on the smartphone with some other perks. CES is just around the corner and there is no better way for OPPO to kickstart the event by announcing a smartphone for the camera-centric generation.
As of now no date has been confirmed but OPPO F1 could be launched anytime soon this January.
Mid-range smartphones these days come with 5 inches to 5.5 inches displays, octa-core processors, 2 GB to 3 GB RAM, 16 GB to 32 GB internal storage and 13 MP, 5 MP shooters mounted on the phone.
It will be interesting to see what OPPO F1 is going to bring to the table? Will it sport the same usual features that we have seen so many times before or is it going to bring something new? We will have to wait for a few days more to get answers to these questions.
