The Spro 2 wireless projector from ZTE was one the most interesting devices of 2015 and it looks like many in the technology, and science, industry agree as it has received several industry recognitions in the past few weeks including placing second in Popular Science’s Top 100 Innovations of 2015 as well as being nominated for GSMA’s Glomo Awards for the Best Connected Consumer Electronic Device Category.

It’s a portable 4G LTE hotspot, Android device, and wireless projector in one. The size of a book, the Spro 2 has a 5-inch touchscreen that runs the full Android OS, meaning you can project any app (such as Netflix and Instagram). The device can also provide Internet for up to 10 devices.”
The Spro2 is a wireless project that features an extremely compact form factor that measures only 131 x 134 x 33.2mm and weighs only 526 grams. In spite of its small size, the Spro2 is still able to operate for a long period of time with its 6300mAh battery which lets the Spro2 project for up to 2.5 hours straight. It supports a large number of connectivity options such as dual-band WiFi, Miracast, Airpin, USB 3.0, HDMI, and more. And can project up to 720p resolution at 200 Lumens.
