In 1969, Apollo was the first spaceship to land on the moon. Fast forward 47 years and Vernee lands its flagship device “Apollo” on the planet of mobile devices.

As the battle in cellphone market of 2016 has already begun, the recently founded high-tech company Vernee from Shenzhen, China brings its newest flagship smart phone Apollo to MediaTek‘s 2016 new release conference.

But what is it that Vernee will bring us? First of all and most importantly, the Vernee says the Apollo will display the excellent research and development skills and high-level innovation spirits of Vernee company. Going directly into deep waters, instead of offering low to mid-end devices, slowly scrambling itself up the mobile industry, Vernee will introduce a flagship device.

And what a device it will be! Let’s see some of the specs it will be carrying:

CPU: Helio X20 MTK6797 Chipset
Display: 5.5-inch, 2K Resolution
ROM: 128GB
Main Camera: 21.0MP SONY IMX230 sensor
Front Camera: 8.0MP

Additional Features
3D Force Touch
USB Type-C Port
Full metal uni-body

Yep, you read that right: 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM and 3D Force Touch! That’s what you’ll seeing on the Vernee Apollo.

Vernee plans to arrange shipments around late April. As of now, the retail price as well as battery capacity are unknown, but rumour has it that the pricing will be aggressive. Let’s wait for Vernee to release more information
