The other day we told you about the announcement of Meizu 6 Pro during the Mediatek conference. Today we have some signs and the power that it will carry.
From the results of GeekBench database, Meizu PRO 6 has 3GB RAM and its capabilities are pretty good! Single core score of 2060 is quite impressive but multi-core 5317 is a bit low, as compared to other SoCs. What do those numbers stand in comparison with other SoCs? Single thread beats Cortex-A72 Kirin 950 and multithreaded performance can compare with Snapdragon 820 (around 5400 points). However, it’s still lower than Exynos 8890 which scores around 6000 points on the multi-core test.
Meanwhile, previously, in the database other SoCs came up, such as MT6797 (Helio X20) which posted better results. The chip managed a score of 2193 in single-thread performance with multi-threaded performance reaching a terrifying 6965! Since the X25 is an upgraded version of the X20, it looks like these are just preliminary scores and the final version of the Helio X25 chip could post better results.
