A new smartphone from Chinese device maker Huawei has leaked out that goes by the name of Huawei Y5 II ( II signifies second generation). It is reported that with this smartphone Huawei will be eyeing the entry level segment.
Huawei Y5 II boasts of a 5-inch 720p display and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P chipset clocking 1.3 GHz. You will get 1GB of RAM on this smartphone along with 8GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and features an 8MP rear camera. Under the hood, a 2200mAh battery is providing juice to this smartphone.
Although it is a huge upgrade over its predecessor which sported a lower resolution display measuring 4.5-inches and a Snapdragon 210 chipset along with a 5MP rear camera, these new specs are still entry level.
Huawei Y5 II reportedly carries a price tag of $165. There’s another model in the works in the same series, namely the Y3 II, however, we have no information about the same as of now.
