At a Russian forum, a user called zloy_vrach posted photos of what seems to be the upcoming Meizu Pro 6 that will be announced on Wednesday, Apri 13. The photos look real as do the Antutu screenshots that list the specs of the device. As the user from Odessa says, the device is “cool” but he prefers the Xiaomi Mi5 better.
The device sports a 5.2″ AMOLED display of 1080p resolution and has 3d Touch functions that only works only with Meizu’s own apps for the time being but it is worse than the one used in iPhone 6S.
Most of the rest of the specs are already known, with Helio X25 (MT6797T) powering the device, 4GB of RAM, 32GB ROM, 21MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter. The device is dual-SIM, no microSD slot is available, the established mBack button is there in the front with fingerprint sensor hiding under it and the OS is Flyme OS 5.2 on top of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Antutu benchmark shows a result of 91,165, somehow below average for this years’ flagships.
The device’s official announcement is coming in two days and rumors have it that apart from Pro 6, there will be another device in the future to rival the upcoming Xiaomi Note 2, the Meizu Pro 6 Plus.
