The smartphone market is nothing like when OnePlus entered back in 2014, with the competition intensifying with the entry of <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/04/27/leeco-le-2-phones-unbelievable-record/">more Chinese handset makers </a>into the international market. So, there is no doubt that the company will have to step up its game this year.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-81531" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/fb_img_1462129430499.jpg?x10805" alt="oneplus 3 phone" width="600" height="325" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/fb_img_1462129430499.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/fb_img_1462129430499-300x163.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>Thanks to a leak from a popular user on Weibo, KJuma, we now have a lot more details about the OnePlus 3 flagship. From what we can see, the phone will offer tremendous value for the money you put in, starting at just <strong>$310</strong>. In fact, the pricing and the memory details are in line with what we <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/05/01/oneplus-3-priced-1999-yuan-310-rumored-come-two-versions/">had leaked exclusively a few days back</a>. So, let&#8217;s look at what the OnePlus 3 would most likely offer.</p>
<p>Every year, OnePlus makes sure that their flagship phone comes with the best chipset in the market. This year too, the company is said to continue the tradition, using <strong>Snapdragon 820 inside the OnePlus 3</strong>. The new leak reveals two memory variants. The standard version will come with <strong>4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage</strong>. On the other hand, the <strong>high-end variant should come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage</strong>. At this point, we don&#8217;t know whether the storage will be expandable or not.  As for the display, it should have a<strong> 5.5-inch panel with 1080p resolution</strong>.</p>
<p>As for the camera, the phone should come with a<strong> 16MP rear sensor with a large aperture</strong> which reportedly takes amazing <strong>bokeh effect photos</strong>. Well, we did see a <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/04/28/oneplus-3-first-camera-sample-leaked/">camera sample from the OnePlus 3 </a>revealed directly by the company CEO and it looked good. Up front, you can expect an 8MP shooter. Inside, there will be a 3500mAh battery and for software, Android 6.0 based Hydrogen OS 2.0. There was no mention of fast charging tech in this new leak, but earlier today, we saw a new <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/05/04/oneplus-3-certified-china-comes-5v-4a-fast-charging-tech/">OnePlus A3000 phone certified with OPPO&#8217;s low voltage 5V 4A charging support</a>, which should end up on the OP3.</p>
<figure id="attachment_74410" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-74410" style="width: 513px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-74410 size-full" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/oneplus-3-concept-01.jpg?x10805" alt="oneplus 3 concept 01" width="513" height="360" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/oneplus-3-concept-01.jpg 513w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/oneplus-3-concept-01-300x211.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 513px) 100vw, 513px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-74410" class="wp-caption-text">oneplus 3 concept</figcaption></figure>
<p>Now, coming to the pricing, the OnePlus 3 will start at<strong> 1999 yuan ($310)</strong> says the leak for the 4GB RAM + 32GB version. The high-end 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant will retail for<strong> 2499 Yuan ($384)</strong>. If true, these are some aggressive prices for the specs the phone comes with. To recap, one of the best value for money handsets in the market right now, the<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/22/xiaomi-mi-5-sold-instantly-fourth-flash-sale-pro-version-coming-soon/"> Xiaomi Mi 5 also starts at $310</a>, but it comes with 3GB RAM and an underclocked CPU.</p>
<p>We haven&#8217;t really seen the new OnePlus 3 handset in real life, so we don&#8217;t know how the phone will end up looking. But we can expect the company to cook up a great design for their most important smartphone of this year.</p>
<p>Stay tuned for more details.</p>
