A Xiaomi device with code number 2016030 showed up recently in the TENAA website and is believed to be the successor of the Redmi 3 Pro. Maybe Redmi 3S or 4. The device looks exactly the same as the Redmi 3 Pro with the only difference spotted on the SoC where the device seems to have SD435.
From the specsheet we can see that the device carries a 5″ HD display, an unknown octacore SoC clocked at 1.4GHz, 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM expandable via microSD, 13MP/5MP rear/front camera, fingerprint sensor, 4,000mAh battery capacity and running Android 6.0.
Three colors are available, grey, gold and silver-gray. If the SoC is indeed SD435, then it will have 8xA53 cores, Adreno 505 GPU with OpenGL ES 3.1 support, and LTE modem that supports up to 300mbps download and 100mbps upload speeds, manufactured with the 28nm process. Qualcomm’s Fast Charging 3.0 technology is also on board. As for the camera, this SoC supports up to 21MP sensors with dual image support.
On June 18 is the birthday of East Beijing, maybe Xiaomi will release the device on that day?
