Meizu Pro 5 was announced last year with much fanfare and the device was very well received upon unveiling, both by critics and the fans. This high-end device single-handedly gave a tough fight to other flagship devices from rival brands. Now, Meizu has decided to reduce the price of this device to make it more suitable so as to stand in with the flagship devices launched this year. Meizu Pro 5 has undergone a price cut of 300 Yuan ( $45) bringing down the price to 2199 Yuan ($330) for the 32GB variant. This reduced price will be effective from 10:00 AM Chinese Standard Time starting July 21.

Meizu Pro 5 features a 5.7-inch 1080p display and is powered by an Exynos 7420 chipset. This is the same chipset that Samsung has used on the Galaxy S6 smartphone. This phone comes equipped with UFS 2.0 flash storage which is about 5 times faster than a conventional eMMC 5.0 storage.
