Today Ulefone launches Ulefone Tiger, a 5.5-inch budget device with 4200mAh big battery and metal unibody. It consists of a magnesium-aluminum case with brush finish, while the most prominent of the back cover is the shining camera protector. Unlike latest trends, Ulefone Tiger has a removable back cover. This allows two SIM cards and 1 SD card to be installed at the same time. On the front side of Ulefone Tiger, there is a piece of 2.5D Corning Gorilla 3 glass as on most other Ulefone devices.
On with the specs, the 4200mAh battery undoubtedly is its key feature. Ulefone says it will support 2-day normal use or at most 550 hours of standby. The battery has adopted latest Sony Li-polymer electric cell which is said to be very safe.
Ulefone packs MTK6737W 1.3GHz 64-bit chipset with dual 4G support. There are 2GB LPDDR3 RAM, 16GB Storage and 5.5-inch HD display also. For photography, the device Sony IMX219 8MP (interpolated to 13MP) back camera and Samsung SE5K2 5MP front camera. Both cameras adopt a 5-element lens.
What’s more, Ulefone Tiger includes fingerprint scanner compatible with 5 finger IDs for multiple purposes and independent audio chipset AW8737 Smart PA to improve music experience. Ulefone Tiger will come with stock android 6.0 pre-installed which enables off-screen gestures. For colors, there will be Sky Black, Grey Golden versions.
According to the specs, Ulefone Tiger should belong to Ulefone’s budget line in 5.5-in size. Thus the price will have the final talk in users’ perception.
