Blackview BV6000 to get Android Nougat next month

Chinese manufacturers are on a streak when it comes to updating to Android Nougat. Several models will receive OTA updates by the end of the year. That said, Blackview BV6000 is next in line. The rugged device from Blackview is on schedule to receive the update in mid-November.

In the mean time, until Android 7 comes, another OTA is on its way to improve some bugs. The update is due tomorrow and the improvements it brings are as follow.

  • No notification will show up about the device being rooted when installing certain applications
  • The max volume of the recorded videos has been optimized to be louder and clearer
  • Corrected a language mistake of the Russian translation in UI
