The iPhone 7 is here since September, bringing a new color finish to the market. The Jet Black (or Piano Black) is the most popular color although it is very sensitive to scratches. Now, Doogee follows the design paradigm of Apple and presents a Piano Black version of the Doogee Y6.
The new back cover color is glossy and provides a different feeling while holding, though it is more prone to fingerprints. Doogee Y6 features an MTK6750 SoC, 5.5″ Sharp HD display covered with 2.5D glass. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back and of course, it supports 4G+ data connection. In addition, the 8.0MP front camera has an 88° wide angle with beautifying function.
Similar to the iPhone’s production process, the Y6 which needs a nine-step process to achieve that look. The first and toughest part of the process is the rotational 3D polishing. A machine drags the aluminum housing through a special powder, which buffs out imperfections and helps to produce a mirror-like effect. The housing is then dipped into an anodization tank, making it more corrosion-resistant.
The Doogee Y6 Piano Black Edition features 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and is available exclusively on DOOGEE-lisenced shops in limited quantities. Also, on November 11th, 100 units will be available for $99.99.
