Seems like that we are overwhelmed with news of the latest Bluboo Edge model. But Bluboo keeps giving us reasons to learn more about it. This time, they want to prove that the Bluboo Edge’s display is not just eye-candy, but a survivor too. Generally speaking, a curvy display comes with rather brittle marginal parts. To overcome the issue, Bluboo engineers thickened the margin of the Gorilla Glass 4 display. This resulted in a stronger screen, more solid than ever.
And to prove it, Bluboo released a video testing the strength of the Edge’s display. In the video we can clearly see that the screen remains intact and works well after the violent iron ball impact test. The device successfully handled the continuous heavy impact by iron balls from 20cm’s height. Check it out yourself below.
Of course, the main selling point of the Bluboo Edge includes the beautiful dual curved design, a 5.5-inch HD resolution OGS display. Other specs include a quad-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz, 256 GB microSD expansion, 13MP Sony IMX219 main camera and Android 6.0 OS. Also, the device has a front fingerprint reader and a heart rate monitor. Quite uncommon for the price range. The Bluboo Edge is currently in the presale period, you can find all info about the presale here.
