Last week Ulefone announced that they would release a Helio-X27 dual-camera device, the Ulefone Gemini Pro in the beginning of 2017. But before that, the “simple” version will be released, the Ulefone Gemini. We expect it to show up in a few days.
Ulefone Gemini will still have dual cameras of 13MP and 8MP on the rear side, with the major camera to focus on the main object and the secondary camera to help measure the depth of field in order to create a Bokeh effect. As for the front shooter, there is another 8MP camera with beautification modes support. The device will feature a metal CNC manufactured body with brushed finish. On the front, there is a 5.5” FHD display covered with 2.5D glass. In addition, the fingerprint scanner is under the home button.
The specs list for Ulefone Gemini is not available now, but from the naming, it should pack more economic components than Helio X27 chipset, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage on the Pro version. For sure, it will carry a Mediatek SoC with dual camera support, maybe a P Series one.
