OPPO, currently one of the top Chinese smartphone brands both in China and in the world, has been extremely successful with their mid-range and budget smartphones over the past year or so but fans have been waiting for the brand to come out with a true high-end flagship since the company released the Find 7 back in 2014.
But 2017 might finally be the year OPPO returns to the high-end flagship market with reports that the company plans to release the Find 9 flagship this year. And today images of as well as details on the Find 9 have been leaked online giving us a small glimpse into what we can expect from the new flagship when it comes out.
The images reveal a device with a rather large display and extremely thin bezels especially at the top and bottom of the display. The thin bezels also reveal that the Find 9 won’t feature a physical home button but instead will have on-screen navigation buttons.
According to the leaked specifications, the Find 9 will come in two variants and will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 and 835 processor, 4 and 6GB of RAM, and 64 and 128GB of internal storage, respectively.
There have also been rumors that the Find 9 won’t run on OPPO’s standard Color OS Android-based operating system but instead will feature a new Find OS which comes with new AI features. It’s also been rumored that OPPO plans to release the two variants of the OPPO Find 9 sometime during the first half of 2017.
