ASUS started off 2017 with the announcement of two new entries into the company’s ZenFone line, the ZenFone 3 Zoom and ZenFone AR. The company is also expected to unveil its latest ZenFone 4 series of smartphones next month during the 2017 Mobile World Congress. In between though, the company has launched its latest premium tablet, the ZenPad 3S 10 LTE (Z500KL).
Not to be confused with the ZenPad 3S 10 LTE (Z500M) which featured a 2.1GHz hexa-core MediaTek MT8716 processor, the new ZenPad 3S 10 LTE (Z500KL) comes equipped with a 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor which is joined by an Adreno 510 graphics chip as well as 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The rest of the new tablet’s specifications include an all-metal body that measures only 6.75mm thin, a 9.7-inch screen with a display resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, a large 7,900 mAh battery, and LTE connectivity. It is also equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera for taking photos and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calls.
The new ZenPad 3S 10 (Z500KL) comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and is already available in several territories for a price of around $405.
