As technology evolves together with the users’ needs, more and more RAM is needed by apps that continue to improve, approaching desktop apps in terms of features. From 2GB in 2012 to 3GB, the 4GB RAM amount became a standard last year. In 2017, most flagship devices will go for 6GB RAM and there will be some with 8GB RAM also. Elephone Z1 is no exception, following in the current trend. With 6GB RAM, it is able to power through even the most demanding apps and games with enhanced performance.
Apart from raw power, design is equally (or more sometimes) important to the hardware specs. A beautiful design with mid to high-end specs is always more attractive than a bad design with top specs. For that reason, the backcover of Elephone Z1 is crafted with both lumia-wave technique and In Molding Label technology (IML) to achieve a gorgeous-glossy and scratch-proof outcome.
Of course, it is a pity to have 6GB of RAM without the proper internal storage. And although the Z1 will support microSD extension, internal storage is always better due to better speed and integrity. With 64GB in the Z1, it means running out of space is a thing in the past. What’s more, the 5.5″ FHD display has a 1.6mm super-slim bezel and covers 82% of the front panel. Equipped with the powerful Helio P20 SoC and Android 6.0, Elephone Z1 multitasks without a problem at all.
Lastly, there is a 13MP main camera as well as an 8MP front camera and 3100mAh battery capacity that ensures good battery life. The Elephone Z1 is the first crowdfunded project for the company and until February 25 you can be an early bird and buy it for $189,99 only. This makes it the world’s cheapest phone with 6GB RAM.
