Xiaomi has just announced that it is expanding to the Vietnamese market with a newly signed distribution agreement with local services provider Digiworld Corporation, which will handle distribution, marketing, and after-sales for the Xiaomi’s range of devices in the country.
Among the devices Xiaomi is planning to bring to Vietnam include the company’s latest flagship the Mi MIX, the recently launched Redmi 4A, and the Redmi Note 4. The company also plans to bring in its Mi line of products starting with its popular Mi Power Banks.
Xiaomi’s products will be made available at several retailers across Vietnams as well as through the popular online shopping platform Lazada.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has previously mentioned that the company isn’t rushing its global expansion and will enter other markets gradually. Just recently, the company hit 1 million sales of its Redmi Note 4 in the emerging Indian market, where the company is currently one of the top three smartphone brands.
