The Xiaomi Mi 6 has been running around the rumor mill for the past few months with the most recent leaked renders showing the device will feature dual rear cameras and will ditch the headphone jack. And today, images of what is said to be a protective case for the Mi 6 were leaked on Chinese social media network Weibo, confirming at least one of those rumors.
The case features rounded edges and corners seemingly confirming that, as opposed to previously leaked renders, the Mi 6 will also feature rounded edges and corners. The holes on the case also confirm previous rumors that the Mi 6 will feature a dual rear camera system although it looks like the flash will be closer to the edge of the device instead of the cameras unlike the one shown in the leaked renders.
Lastly, one of the leaked images of the case shows it being compared to the Samsung Galaxy S6, confirming previous rumors that the Mi 6 could feature a 5.2-inch display as the case is slightly larger than the S6 which has a 5.1-inch display. It also looks like the Mi 6 is longer instead of wider which could mean that it will feature an unusual display resolution.
According to rumors, Xiaomi plans to unveil the Mi 6 on April 11, which is a little less than three weeks from now. So we won’t have to wait long to confirm all the information that has been leaked about the device.
