Xiaomi Mi Drone was announced about a year ago and was then one of the first crowdfunded projects from Xiaomi to see the light. There were two models introduced, one with a 1080p video recording and a high-end version with 4K video recording.
The price was also amazing at $380 and $450 respectively but, as always international pricing from various online retailers were absurd. It even reached about $1000 at some point! Thankfully, TomTop has a great flash sale available that bring the price close to the official one. For $499 you can obtain the top 4K version. Mind you that the offer is valid for 50 units only. There are still about 40 units available, so be quick.
Xiaomi Mi Drone is a quadcopter with a 360-degree 4K camera and a remote control without a display, as you can use your Xiaomi smartphone as a viewfinder. The Mi Drone has a 5,100mAh battery, which is also easily replaceable.
On the camera section, Mi Drone supports 3-axis angle adjustment, a Sony 12.04MP back-illuminated CMOS image sensor with 6-piece lens for the 4K model, video recording of up to 3840*2160P @30FPS. The 1080P model has a Sony 16MP sensor. Both models use US Fighters professional processors.
