Oukitel K8000 full specs released: Samsung AMOLED Display and 8000mAh Battery

OUKITEL just announced officially the release of Oukitel K8000 and devoted making it the smartphone with the longest battery performance. According to the battery consumption test last week, the K8000 can last even longer than the 10000mAh battery smartphone K10000 Pro. The device is officially online, indicating that it will hit the market soon.

The K8000 software optimizing is under final testing and Oukitel Lab released the first hands-on video.

The K8000 features a 5.5″ Samsung AMOLED HD display and is made of a whole piece of aircraft aluminum alloy. Due to its special design, it looks even thinner than a 6000mAh smartphone. There is a dual rear camera with 16MP/2MP sensor combination and an 8MP 80° wide-angle front camera offering 6 modes of shooting experience: Normal mode, Facebeauty, Blur, Mono, Panorama, and Pro mode. On the inside lies the MT6750T octa-core SoC along with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage that all together ensure a smooth experience.     Whats the point of having huge battery in smartphone if youre gonna use outdated, energy hungry MediaTek processor…

      For light work, it is minor component (power consumption wise). It still will do long weeks of standby/background sync. That´s how many people use it. Also, over a day of screen on time, that´s not what many “energy efficient processor” devices can do.

    I was liking the look of this until I saw the video. Anyone else notice the top bezel is twice the size in the video compared to the photo placed 2 inches below it?

      I see! 🙂 I also wonder how is the real life battery life, when display is not all the time 100% and u just use sync with your accounts etc. I´d guess that K8000 won´t run anywhere far. Also there comes some competition with same, if not larger batteries… So I recommend you to wait few weeks. Things will change…
