The latest news about the new Leagoo T5c was a surprise, as it doesn’t come with the usual suspect inside. So, instead of a Mediatek SoC, it comes with SC9853i SoC by Spreadtrum who is dedicated to the budget and mid-range smartphone CPU. It’s a debut for the SC9853i! Built on Intel’s 14nm foundry platform, SC9853 exceeds in both performance and power efficiency.
According to the official data from Spreadtrum, SC9853i is an octa-core chipset with 1.8Ghz frequency. The test result of Antutu benchmark shows that SC9853i is 39% stronger than MT6750. Specifically, the single and multi-core performance of SC9853i is 25% and 36% stronger than that of MT6750 respectively.
Besides the SoC, the Leagoo T5c is equipped with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage. Also, there is a 5.5″ FHD display as well as a dual rear camera from Samsung (13MP) and OV(2MP). In addition, it sports a large LG 3000mAh battery with 5V2A quick charge. The good news is that the front fingerprint ID is reserved for its convenient usage.
