Vkworld S8 is the latest flagship of the company and it sports a 5500mAh huge battery as well as a titanium frame. In addition, both its display and back panel are covered with Gorilla Glass 4 which is much more durable than normal glass.
What’s more, the top bezel hosts various sensors and parts like the light sensor, proximity sensor, ear speaker and notification light. And recently, the company revealed that the S8 also features Face Recognition, a security feature usually present in expensive flagships devices. The announcement was made on November 11th, just on time for the Single’s Day sales.
Vkworld hadn’t revealed the feature before as it was still in testing. However, they have perfected the functionality now and it can store up to 5 sets of Face IDs. The company claims that it so fast that it can unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds.
Most devices featuring Face Recognition, are usually very highly priced. On the other hand, the Vkworld S8 costs just $169 during the promotion running, becoming the cheapest smartphone with that feature. And since the beginning is made, the Chinese manufacturer announced that more models with Face Recognition are coming in the future.
Meanwhile, Vkworld Mix is only $92.99 in Gearbest. The original price is $109.99. Vkworld Mix has a 3500mAh battery, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, a Sony IMX149 camera, MT6737 SoC, 5.5″ LG on-cell IPS display, as well as dual glass design and rear fingerprint scanner. You can buy the Vkworld Mix here.
