Nomu T18 Official Unboxing and Function Preview (video)

by Dimitris Economou 3

As we’ve learned in previous news, Nomu T18 is the world most professional rugged smartphone as it supports external camera and walkie-talkie. Last week, NOMU released the news that gave a general description of T18, and you must be curious about how to operate the external camera and to activate the walkie-talkie functions. For that reason, the company prepared and uploaded an unboxing video to demonstrate exactly that.

It’s worth mentioning that T18’s walkie-talkie function is available on its hardware. You don’t need any app or WiFi connection to activate the function. As for the operating distance, it can reach up to 5km! The second function worth mentioning is the external camera that has two buttons to control photo and video shooting, eliminating the need to switch functions in the camera app. Apart from that, an external camera allows you to freely change the photography angle and capture impressive photos. By the way, the external camera, valued at $69.99 comes as a free upgrade.

Completely refreshing masterpiece! There are rare devices that connect the phone to the radio. This is very useful in practice. I like it.

A step in the right direction. I’d be using this for hiking in areas without phone reception. Upgrade the camera and the screen size.
